Ryverz enlisted the U.S.Army in Texas with service number # 06295699.

 

Ryverz died in Japanese captivity having the disease (prob) Beri Beri and Peritontis  in Japan on March 25, 1944, he is honored with a POW Medal,  Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Ryverz is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
